Phoenixville Little Hoops Stars (Pre K & K, must be 4)

Boys and girls ages 4-6 years old have fun and learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting and positioning.  Each session consists of instruction in each aspect of the game , participation in fun, age appropriate drills that are designed to teach skills and low-key, non-competitive games.

Date: Saturdays 2/3/18-3/10/18

Location: Renaissance Academy

Fee: $65 (includes NBA Team T-shirt)

Phoenixville Hoop Stars (grades 1 & 2)

Players in grades 1-2 are taught the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, defense, and rebounding.  They will then apply what they have learned in fun non-competitive games.  Parents are welcome to assist in coaching, but Jump Strat Sports instructors will run classes.

It's more than Soccer: Soccer Shots is The Children's Soccer Experience! We are a national program designed for young children, introducing them to the game of soccer.  Soccer Shots not only teaches children the basic skills of soccer but also places a high emphasis on character development as well. Thousands of children throughout the United States each day experience the fun and excitement of Soccer Shots! We use soccer as a tool to accomplish more than just soccer: Use of imagination; Creative play activities; Coordination; balance and agility; Words of the day; Teamwork exercises; Character building lessons; and healthy living habits. 2018 Summer Tennis Clinics & "Orange Crush" Tournament

Registration - Thursday June 21 from 9am-12noon at the Phoenixville High School and Kimberton Park Tennis Courts or register by downloading the registration form (see below for link).  Mail in registration with check or money order payable to PBRD.

 P.A.L. BOXING (Sponsored by the Phoenixville Police Athletic League http://phoenixvillepal.org/: Boxing provides youth with an outlet for aggression, while building self-esteem and confidence. The PAL boxing program is offered to boys and girls, ages 10 - 21 and is conducted under the guidance of professional trainers. PAL's training regime conditions youth both physically and mentally and instills a sense of commitment, self-worth, responsibility and discipline. The Boxing program runs year round at the Phoenixville Civic Center, 123 Main Street (PAL Gym is in the basement). PAPA/PBRD Summer Basketball League Registration

 

The PAPA/PBRD Summer Basketball League is a co-ed league opened to all youth ages 7-17.  All games take place at Reservoir park Court or C'Jon Saunders park.  The FIRST games will be played on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17,2018 at the Father's Day Celebration at Reservoir park. The raindate is Sunday June 24th, 2018.  Subsequent games will be played on Sundays throughout July and August.  Some games may be played on Tuesday evenings depending on the number of teams and if there are any rain-outs.

Registration fee: PASD residents $40/ Non-PASD residents $50
