The Phoenix Village Art Center provides educational programs year round in the Visual Arts.  These programs include summer camp, after school and Saturday classes for children, and day, evening and weekend classes for adults.

This organization was developed with two goals:  to create a Community Art Center and to facilitate revitalization of downtown Phoenixville.  After the closing of Phoenix Steel, a Historic District was formed in the late 1980’s. The revitalization effort began in the mid 90’s with a theme of “Our Past is our future”.  Phoenix Steel had over 2,000 employees from diverse cultural backgrounds who still live in the Phoenixville area.  An effort has been made to maintain the historical atmosphere and improve the quality of life of our residents.
