Sports Camps










Ages: 3-6 years old

Boys and girls ages 3-6 years old have fun and learn the basics of soccer: dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting and positioning.  Each session consists of instruction in all aspects of the game, participation in fun drills designed to teach skills, and fun, low-key, non-competitive games.



Summer Session:

Times: 5:30-6:30pm (3 & 4 Year olds)

           6:30-7:30pm (5 & 6 Years olds)

Ages 3-4 years old

A fun and highly instructional introduction to baseball for 3-4 year old boys and girls.  Players learn the basics of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, and base running, and then apply what they have learned in fun, non-competitive games.  Jump Start Sports staff members conduct the instruction and oversee game play while volunteer parent team coaches assist.

Date: Saturdays June 9-July 14

Time: 10am-11am or 11am-12pm on rotating schedule

Ages 4-12 year olds

The camp focuses on the fundamentals of the sport for beginners and experienced players will learn more advanced concepts and be coached to their ability and level of understanding.  Jump Start Sports Camps also focus on children learning cooperation, teamwork, sportsmanship, understanding the importance of recreational game play, and benefits of physical activity.

Week 1:Monday August 6- August 10

Week 2:Monday August 13-August 17

Time: Full day 9am-3pm, Half day 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm

It's more than Soccer: Soccer Shots is The Children's Soccer Experience! We are a national program designed for young children, introducing them to the game of soccer.  Soccer Shots not only teaches children the basic skills of soccer but also places a high emphasis on character development as well. Boxing provides youth with an outlet for aggression, while building self-esteem and confidence. The PAL boxing program is offered to boys and girls, ages 10 - 21 and is conducted under the guidance of professional trainers. PAL's training regime conditions youth both physically and mentally and instills a sense of commitment, self-worth, responsibility and discipline.


The Boxing program runs year round at the Phoenixville Civic Center, 123 Main Street (PAL Gym is in the basement).

 Ages 7 -17 years old

The PAPA/PBRD Summer Basketball League is a co-ed league opened to all youth ages 7-17. 

All games take place at Reservoir park Court or C'Jon Saunders park. 

The FIRST games will be played on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17,2018 at the Father's Day Celebration at Reservoir park. The raindate is Sunday June 24th, 2018.  Subsequent games will be played on Sundays throughout July and August.  Some games may be played on Tuesday evenings depending on the number of teams and if there are any rain-outs.

Registration fee: PASD residents $40/ Non-PASD residents $50
