(PDF)
On August 9, 2011, Borough Council unanimously voted to adopt the 2011 Borough of Phoenixville Comprehensive Plan as was presented and recommended by the Planning Commission after a two year review and numerous public meetings.
The Comprehensive Plan presents a vision of what kind of community the Borough
would like to be in the future. It identifies the steps required to move forward toward
that vision by providing information about the Borough's current conditions, long-term
goals and objectives, and recommended implementation strategies.
This is a long-range plan to guide the Borough's land use, transportation,
infrastructure,
and community facilities priorities including:
Land Use and Zoning
Economic Development
Housing
Transportation
Infrastructure
Natural Resources and Environment
Open Space and Recreation
Schools and Community Services
