Come to a Soul Line Dance session for beginners where no partner is needed. Otis Givens will put your feet to the test so you dance with the rest!
About Soul Line Dancing
Soul line is considered freestyle dancing, very similar to country line dancing.
The main difference is that you dance to R&B, Hip ‘Hop, Contemporary, Jazz
or Gospel music. It's performed in a line formation as the teacher dances in
front of the class with his or her back to the students (making it easy to follow
the instructor's moves). This step by step instruction will help you learn the
dances you see on the television show and also in the line dancing community.
When and Where
All classes will run on Saturdays at the Phoenixville Recreation Department from
7:00p.m.to 9:00 p.m.
This is a great opportunity to incorporate some physical activity in your day,
in addition to having a great time. Please dress comfortably and bring water
if you like.
