The Borough has a number of 2008 Summer Programs. To register, click on the link which will open a PDF application form. Print the form and return it to the Recreation Department.


The Recreation Department has Seven Board Members and five Staff Employees. They hold public meetings monthly, you can see the dates here.

The Civic Center, where the Recreation Department is located, was built in 1908 and has an interesting history. You can learn more about the Civic Center and its use by the Recreation Department. < Learn More >


The Borough of Phoenixville and the Recreation Department sponsor a pre-school program called The Gingerbread House.

Its purpose is to help pre-school aged children:

  • TO DEVELOP ACCEPTABLE SOCIAL BEHAVIOR
  • TO ENCOURAGE CREATIVE SELF EXPRESSION, THROUGH
