Beginning on Monday, October 7, 2019 and continuing through April 2020, Eastern Highway Specialists will be constructing a portion of the Schuylkill River Trail across the bridge connecting the Borough of Phoenixville and Upper Providence Township (Route 29).
During the project, traffic across the bridge may at times be restricted to one (1) ten foot wide lane between the hours of 9am – 4pm, Monday – Friday. At all other times there will be two (2) ten foot wide lanes across the bridge. A pedestrian/bicycle lane will remain open throughout the project.
Motorists are advised to allow additional time when travelling through this area.
