Now that the holidays are coming to an end, and it is time to take our decorations down, here are some tips for disposing of your live Christmas trees.

Disposal Options

Live Christmas trees can be left outside and collected with regular trash, from December 26th, 2018 until March 1st, 2019. 

Phoenixville Residents can also take live Christmas trees to the compost site at

18 S 2nd Ave.
Phoenixville, PA 19460 


What to Do

All ornaments, lights, tree stands, tinsel, and plastic bags must be removed.
