2023 Skate Camp at Blackrock Park with Skate the Foundry
The Skateboard programs are for both new and moderately experienced skateboarders. New skaters will learn balance, body coordination, creativity, teamwork, and develop their physical and mental strength. Additionally, they will learn how to get on/off a board safely, how to push and go down a small ramp at first. From there, they will be able to explore different types of ramps and tricks with instructors.
For experienced skateboarders, instructors will teach more advanced tricks requiring an understanding of a variety of nuances in board control. Lastly, all skaters will be given basic coaching on how to mentally persevere through tricks that take a long time to execute.
Date(s): July 24-28 OR August 14-18
Location: Upper Providence Skate Park ,1286 Black Rock Road Phoenixville, PA 19460
Age range: Ages 7 - 13 (all levels are welcomed)
Time of program: 9:00 AM - 12:00PM
Cost: $350 per week
